I Scream for Ice Cream!!
Finally, finally spent a lovely day with my cousin Erica and my friend Cathy out in Lincoln, MA. We visited the DeCordova Museum which is a fantastic place. It abounds with art sculptures, a very scenic park, and a lovely cafe. Lunch was very tasty. I had a chicken caesar salad served with a side of orzo salad and an oriental slaw. Great combination. The exhibits were very interesting and it’s the type of place where each look taken provides a new interesting sight. We visited the gift shop which is a mini art gallery in itself and is a fun place to go. Of course, what day trip is complete without a visit to the local ice cream shoppe? We stopped in at Bedford Farms in Concord for a refreshing snack of icec ream. I had my favorite, purple cow. If ice cream flavors were gems, purple cow would be the diamond! Yum!!
