Fudgy Walnut Topped Brownies
Did you ever get a craving for something chocolate and moist? This is the answer to that craving. These chocolate brownies are so moist and satisfying for any sweet tooth. I always add some chocolate chips to the mix to make them even more moist. The trick for fudgy brownies is to not overcook them. I sometimes add the walnuts right into the batter but if there is anyone mildly allergic to nuts, then this recipe works great. Just put the batter into the pan and then add the nuts to only the top of half of the pan. Make sure to store them separately.
Fudgy Walnut Topped Brownies
1 1/2 cups butter
3/4 cup baking cocoa
4 eggs
2 cups granulated sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup finely chopped walnuts
In a mixing bowl with an electric mixer, beat eggs and sugar. Mix in cocoa. Add vanilla.
Stir in the butter, then fold in the flour. Stir in the chocolate chips.
Pour into a greased and floured 13×9 pan.
Sprinkle with the nuts.
Bake for about 25-30 minutes @ 350*.
