After Thanksgiving Sandwiches
Thanksgiving is now in the past but my kitchen is still full with the foods from yesterday’s dinner. I had a great sandwich today with turkey and cranberry sauce on rustic bread. Just absolutely delicious. I also had too much leftover pies-mincemeat,apple,and pumpkin with real homemade whipped cream. It seems that once I take a bite another one just happens to be needed. Good thing the Thanksgiving pies and pumpkin cake roll will be gone soon and then it will be back to eating healthy before I pack on any pounds and start to look like a beached whale. Won’t be too pretty of a look for the holidays. I do have a few favorite sandwiches that sound unhealthy but really are not. In fact today’s sandwich wasn’t too loaded with calories as I used a half a slice of bread that I sliced in half. I used mustard on the turkey and very little cranberry sauce. Not too bad. Here are a couple of other sandwich recipes for your enjoyment.
