Wines for the Seasons

Tis the season for festivities and what better way to be festive then with a great glass of wine. I am not a great connoisseur of wines nor am I so unastute (if that is a word) to think that Boone’s Farm is a good wine,  but there are some that I truly enjoy. My favorite right now is a white zinfandel.  I believe that is because I tend to have a sweet tooth. It has been said that if you are raised drinking sweet drinks that one will tend to like sweeter wines. Hmmph! I rarely drink sweet drinks but find that my palate isn’t accustomed to a drier wine. I find Beringer’s White Zinfandel very good. Yum. So smooth, lightly sweet,  and delicious. Healthy too, unless you imbibe too much, but isn’t that the case with anything we ingest?  Keep looking back here to learn more about wines. My next project is to visit local wineries and sample their goods which will add to my expertise and hopefully to my health.  Wine likes and dislikes are definitely personal and do not make anyone a more sophisticated person because they like dry wines rather than sweet ones.  Happy wining!
